This Friday, 13th March Hope Brook C of E Primary School will be hosting a Hokey-Cokey at the Recreation Ground in aid of Red Nose Day. They would like as many villagers as possible to attend so please come if you can make it. Festivities begin at 3:00pm.
The children and teachers of Hope Brook School as well as parents and villagers turned out on Friday the Thirteenth to celebrate "Red Nose Day" - a nationwide event to raise money for numerous charities at home and abroad. A giant hokey-cokey took place at the Rec with everyone dressing up in red and doing the hokey-cokey. Oficial figures show that over 170 villagers took part in the event raising some £ for Comic Relief. It looked like everyone who attended had fun!
