Longhope has been hit by a powerful earthquake, the strongest for 25 years, measuring 5.2 on the Richter Scale. The earthquake hit just before 1.00am this morning, with its epicentre in Market Rasen in Lincolnshire, and felt throughout Britain. Buildings in Longhope shook, and many people were woken by the tremors, but so far, there are no reports of any sructural damage to buildings, or personal injuries.
