Recently, George Watkins, Chair of the Longhope Parish Council, and other representatives visited Orkney in a project involving pupils at the North Walls Community School. As many of you will know, longhope is to have a new school in the centre of the village. The Parish Council are in favour of placing a time capsule within the grounds of the new school, and pupils from North Walls Community School have been invited to add items to the capsule and hence enhancing the link between the two communities.
