LADS 2014 Performance

The L.A.D.S. have had a reprieve of the death sentence that was hanging over their heads at the end of last year, and are back this March with their latest production. It would have been a real shame to see the end of Longhope Amateur Dramatic Society after a history of over 50 years, starting way back in 1938, but the call to arms has been answered by a few new recruits, as well as the same old faces.

The new production is called "Pull the other one" written by Norman Robbins, and is said to be a typically British farce, with all the usual misunderstandings, comings and goings, lots of double meanings and of course, lost clothing! Sounds a recipe for a fun night – or three? The production will go ahead on 27th, 28th and 29th March (Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights) on stage at The Latchen Rooms. Come along and please give them your support. Don't let part of Longhope's history die out.
