The Parish Council intends writing to the government to ask for more money to improve the drainage system in Church Road. Many properties have been flooded several times in the last few months due to the heavy rain, and the inability of the present drainage system to cope. Many residents think that it is due to recent new housing development within the village that is causing the problem.
