Since the original plans were submitted in July, the Forest of Dean District Council (FODDC) has ordered that more reports are required into the effect the park will have on the environment. The consortium will be hoping to attract 30,000 visitors within the first year to areas such as nature trails, play areas and a steam railway.
There are still people that oppose the transformation of the Mohair Center as they fear that more accidents will happen at the busy junction where the Mohair Center meets the A40.
